The primary duties of this position include supervision of children and appropriate assistance to Lead Teachers in the management of assigned classrooms.  GMCC and its affiliates reserve the right to assign other duties to any employee at any time depending upon business needs.  Assists in the creation and maintenance of an attractive and well-organized classroom, assuring arrangements are functional for children’s use and encourage creativity and exploration.  Assists children with transitions from home to school, maintains awareness of the whereabouts of each child, establishes behavior guidelines and follows through with appropriate expectations for children’s behavior. Enables children to resolve their own conflicts and assists them in managing their feelings positively.  Responsible for daily cleaning of classroom.  GMCC and its affiliates reserve the right to assign other duties to any employee at any time depending upon business needs.  High school diploma, or equivalent, required. (A minimum of 9 ECE credits, including one three-credit course in Child      Growth and Development preferred.)  One or more years of experience (preferably in an early childhood setting).  Must complete required First Aid and CPR training.  

This position assists in providing appropriate classroom experiences in a manner that follows all GMCC policies and procedures and NH childcare licensing regulations.

We are in search of an experienced, full-time (Monday-Friday) Associate Teacher to work with toddlers.
