Assist in providing a warm and nurturing environment in which a child can grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively. Work effectively as a team contributor Use appropriate and positive behavior management techniques Maintain required credentials, licensing and NAEYC standards Participate in staff development activities; maintain required hours of training Attend required staff meetingsAn Associate Childcare Teacher MUST have the following experience and attributes: High School Diploma or HiSET/GED Certificate A minimum of 9 ECE Credits from an accredited College or University Ability to comply with and meet NH Childcare Licensing requirements Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Must be able to react quickly and keep up with moving children Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust
