Child Care Workforce Assistance Project

As a result of Senate Bill 404 and legislation passed in 2024, the Child Care Workforce Assistance Project (CCWAP) temporarily expands eligibility for child care assistance to child care professionals whose household income falls between 85% and 100% of the State Median Income. The CCWAP will run from January 2025 to June 30, 2025.

Steps to Apply for CCWAP:

  1. Apply for the New Hampshire Child Care Scholarship through the Department of Health and Human Services.
    If you are eligible for Child Care Scholarship, you do not need to apply for CCWAP.
  2. If you are not eligible for Child Care Scholarship, you will receive a Notice of Decision letter. Please keep this.
  3. Complete the Intent to Apply survey.
  4. You will receive an email from DocuSign that contains the application.

What to Expect After Applying:

  1. If you are approved, you will receive an award letter that outlines the payment amounts and process.
  2. If your application is missing information, you will receive a Notice of Incomplete Application with instructions for providing the appropriate documentation.
  3. If you are not eligible, you will receive a Notice of Ineligible Applicant. This will contain instructions for appealing the decision and reapplying in the future.
