Design a positive and safe environment for children to learn
Establish the daily routine that allows children to develop a love of learning but also minimizes behavior
Prepare lessons and activities that follow the Little Scholars scope and sequence and encourage growth and development and a love for Jesus
Adapt curriculum based on children's needs and interests
Assess children's learning and development
Partner with families by communicating with them about their child's development on an ongoing basis including creating and maintaining a classroom Facebook page
Collaborate with the other team teachers (teamwork)
Complete daily checklists and other scheduled tasks for our center to be a success
Follow all Little Scholars policies and proceduresQualifications
Early Childhood Development and Child Development skills
Curriculum Development and Teaching skills
Strong communication skills
Experience working with infants

Little Scholars has 3 locations. We create fun and engaging classrooms for infants through 5 years old filled with love! We are a faith based center at Granite United Church.
We are looking for an Infant Teacher for our older infants turning toddlers. We are looking for a loving teacher who enjoys learning through creative ways while helping each child grow and develop. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to early childhood development, curriculum development, teaching, and child development, while maintaining strong communication with parents and staff.
