Every child in an early childhood setting has a teacher who is well educated and well compensated. Every early childhood teacher has access to affordable college education and workforce supports as well as earns a livable wage.
What is the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® New Hampshire Scholarship Program?
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® New Hampshire (T.E.A.C.H. NH) provides comprehensive scholarships to enable early educators to take coursework leading to credentials and degrees by making it possible for them to afford both the time and expense of going to school.
Recipients enroll in courses at local colleges while working at least 30 hours per week. In exchange for receiving increased compensation, recipients also agree to remain at the sponsoring program for at least 6 months to 1 year following the completion of their scholarship contract. The commitment period will vary by the type of scholarship that is awarded.
T.E.A.C.H. NH offers four scholarship options for teachers and family child care providers in New Hampshire. Click on the links below to learn more about each Scholarship Model.
Option 1: Associate Degree for FCC Providers
This option provides licensed NH family child care providers financial assistance and support to earn their Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Option 2 & 3: Associate Degree for Teachers
These options provides NH teachers in a licensed early childhood program financial assistance and support to earn their Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Option 4: Child Development Associate Credential
This option provides NH teachers in a licensed early childhood program financial assistance and support to earn their Child Development Associate Credential through the Council for Professional Recognition.
